

Joseph was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Socorro and Joseph Cano Sr. on July 13, 1944. He spent his childhood on the Colonial Golf Course where his father was the foreman and developed a great love for the sport. Additionally, Joseph honorably served his country in the Vietnam War, and returned home to work in the insurance business. Upon his retirement, he dedicated his time to his 6 grandchildren in which he found much joy in. He also enjoyed playing rounds of golf with friends and family, and was also dedicated to his Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by, parents, Joseph Sr. and Soccoro Cano, and brother, Albert Cano. Joseph is survived by daughter, Jessica McLure; son, John Cano; son-in-law, Louis McLure Sr.; sister, Beatrice Cano; brother, Ralph Cano; grandchildren, Natalie Conrad, Jace Cano, Louis McLure Jr., Kelley Cano, Tyler McLure, and Maverick McLure; and several other extended family members.
