Joseph “Joe” Costa, age 73, went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2013. He was born on May 21, 1940 in Elizabeth, NJ to Anthony & Bonita Costa. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed. He retired from the U. S. Air Force and later worked for the Inspector General. One of his many passions was flying model airplanes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Setsuko Costa; sister Anna Acocella & husband John; 2 nephews, John Acocella Jr. and Joseph A. Acocella & wife Anmarie; great nephew, Matthew Acocella.
There will be a Graveside Service, 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2013 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
