Joseph Anthony Florio III

He is the father of seven children, Joseph, Steven, Patricia (Catanese), all of Texas; Valerie (Grohowski) of New Jersey; Peter of Las Vegas, Tina Franceschini of New York and Jeffery of Texas, as well as sons-in-law Michael Catanese, Charles Franceschini, Robert Grohowski and daughters-in-law Patricia and Sandra; seven grandchildren Joseph V, Kristen, Michael, Anna Marie, Vincent, Dominic and Jeanne Marie and one great grandson, Cooper. Even though Joe was the owner, he loved making the deliveries for the pizzeria. The children of his delivery customers called him “Pizza Pop”. Before going into the pizza business 31 years ago, Joe had a trucking business in which he drove over the road in all 48 states for 17 years. His two older sons worked with him. He will be sorely missed. The family will receive visitors Friday, March 25, 2011 from 5PM to 9PM at Sunset Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 12PM to 2PM with the funeral service to begin at 2PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to BAMC Fisher House.
