Dr. Joseph A. Hudson Jr, age 82, passed away on March 31, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Hudson received his B.S. degree from St. Marys University in 1961. He then attended Texas A&M University where he received his PHD in chemistry in 1968. Joseph went on to acheive his MD from University of Texas Health Science Center in 1976 and completed his internship and residency of ophthalmology in 1979 at UT MB in Galveston. He practiced in Burnet, Marble Falls, and surrounding areas for over 25 years. Joseph had a green thumb and was an avid gardener. He is preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Carollo Hudson; son, John Hudson; his parents, and his sisters, Claire Cobb and Marie Pauline Hudson-Loomis. Joseph is survived by his son Chris Hudson and wife Melissa; daughter in law, Cindy Hudson; brother, Dr. Jerry Hudson; sister, Dr. Rosalind "Ronzie" Hudson-Denkler; grandchildren, CJ, Evan, and Isabella, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.ROSARYFRIDAY, APRIL 22, 202212:30 PMST.
