Joe was born in Louisville KY to Joseph Daniel Karthman Sr. and Mary Virginia Squires.
He dedicated 20 years of life to the United States Navy before retiring to raise his son Danny alongside his wife Angie. He was married to Angelica Karthman for 55 blissful years.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Karthman and his sister, Barbara Karthman.
He is survived by his wife Angelica Karthman, child Joseph Daniel Karthman III and spouse, Sandra; siblings, Karen, Kathy, Leroy, and Bridget; grandchildren, Joseph Daniel, and Gwendolyn Aria.
Joe was independent and strong and loved by many. He will be greatly missed. Though he is gone from our sight he will never be gone from our hearts. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will continue for generations.
