Joseph N. Ryan USAF MSgt. Ret.

Joe was born in Citronelle, Alabama and graduated from Wrights Academy in Mobile, AL.

He spent most of his life in San Antonio, Texas. He was an avid fisherman and a longtime member of the San Antonio Bass Club. He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church.

After retiring from the Air Force, he worked at Kelly Air Force Base until his retirement; he later worked for Dillard's Department Stores.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Lillie Ryan; his beloved wife, Norma Treiber Ryan; two brothers, John Tyler Ryan and William Henry Ryan Jr; and his nephew, Randall Craig Dutton.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jo-An and Ray Beets; grandchildren, Raymond Ryan, Randall Joseph, Andrew Jason and Aimee Elizabeth; sisters Josephine Williamson and Audrey Dutton, both of Mobile, Alabama; and his sister-in-law, Eunice Ryan Campbell, Mobile, Alabama. He is also survived by his nephews: William Mike Ryan, Petal, MS; Bart Ryan Dutton, California; Ronald Neff Dutton, Raleigh, N C.; nieces: Mrs. Cindy Sharpe, Prattville, AL; and Miss Dot Williamson, Mobile, AL. Joe will be missed by a host of friends in Texas, Alabama and Mississippi including his special friend and longtime companion, Mrs. Martha Jo Williams, Prattville, AL.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ryan, Randy and Andrew Beets, Mr. Hassell Maltsberger, Mr. Ralph Williams and Thomas McCullough.
