Josephine Z. Alvarado went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2014 at age 90. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Deacon Thomas Alvarado. Josephine is survived by their children; Alicia Castillo (Gabriel D.), Dallas; Bertha Tenorio (Henry),Dallas; Janet Ann Alvarado, San Antonio; Juliet Marie Wittwer (John D.), Dallas; Diana G. Alvarado, Dallas; Thomas Alvarado III, Dallas; Ramiro Alvarado (Irma), San Antonio; 17 Grandchildren, 16 Great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11:00 am for a 11:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Timothy's Catholic Church with Interment to following in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, at 1:00 p.m.
