Josephine O'Rourke

It is with a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Josephine Bonilla O'Rourke on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the age of 104. She was born on January 19, 1918 in San Antonio, TX. She proudly served her country in the United States Navy and is a World War II Veteran. Josephine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James; Mother: Agapita Bonilla; Sister: Hortense; Brothers: Alfred and Louis; Grandson: Matthew ORourke and Grandson-in-law: Hector Lopez. Survivors include her children: Myles O'Rourke, James O'Rourke (Esther), Cathy Stanbery (Ben), Bridget Torres (Rudy); and daughter-in-law, Lucy Cristan; Grandchildren: Jennifer ORourke-Wickes (Bruce), Stacey Torres-Lopez, Michelle ORourke-Maietta (Gino), Christopher Torres (Maryam), Susan ORourke, Mark ORourke, Rachel Meyers (Jake), Sam Stanbery (Lauren) and Valerie Torres; Great Grandchildren: Damyen (Mia), Deryck, Donavyn, Joshua, Giovanni, Alessio, Ava, Nicolas, Cameron, Roran, Ben, Jackson, Josephine, Charlie and one coming to be named in June.

Visitation is June 2nd, at 6:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm at Porter Loring Mortuary. Mass at 9:30am on June 3rd, at St Henrys Catholic Church 1619 S. Flores St., 78204 with burial to follow at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery.
