With love in our hearts and a deep sense of loss, we remember and celebrate the life of Josie R. Juarez, born on April 26, 1942 in San Antonio,Texas and entered into rest with The Lord on May 19, 2025 at the age of 83.
Josie's love was steady and unconditional. She had the rare ability to make you laugh in one breath and straighten you out in the next---always with love, always with grace, and usually with a raised eyebrow and a sly smile. She was sharp-witted; her humour was her superpower, her strength was her signature, and her love was the thread that held her family together. Knowing her spirit lifted those lucky enough to know her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Antonio Rodriguez and Maria Ignacia Ramirez Rodriguez; husband of 62 years, Armando Adan Juarez; siblings, Janie Ortiz, Lydia Cuviller, David Rodriguez and Maria Luisa Escobedo.
She is survived by her sister, Sylvia Rodriguez; children, Rosalinda (Ralph) Ramirez, and Armando (Myrna) Juarez Jr.; grandchildren, Vanessa, Mercedes and Yasmeen; great grandchildren, Nikolas, Kairi, Nayeli and Brayden each of whom carries a piece of her strength, humor and heart.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always cherished.
