Joyce Ann Anderson

February 2, 1932 ~ November 24, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Joyce Ann "Stadaka" - "Red" Anderson announce that she was called Home on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the age of 86. She was a devoted and loving wife for 52 years to the late Dan R. "Andy" Anderson. Theirs was truly a love story built around family, faith and friends.

She will be affectionately remembered as an amazing mother to Daniel R. Anderson, Jr. (Mercedes) and Randal C. Anderson Sr. (Cathi). She was a wonderful and adoring "Stadaka" (grandmother) to Daniel Anderson III (Danielle), Marlena Anderson (Hannah, HAHA), Marissa Bush (Corey), Sarra Montelongo (Ryan Sr), Sean Anderson (Nicole), Randal "Drew" Anderson Jr, Alex Lopez, Charles Anderson, Gabbi Anderson and 10 great-grandchildren. Joyce was also survived by her faithful (fur baby) companion Abbey.

Joyce was brought up as an Army "brat" and moved from Alaska to Hawaii with many destinations in-between before settling in San Antonio, TX where she started and raised her family. She loved her life and family and enjoyed "talking" about it. She loved to laugh (she had a gorgeous smile), watch movies, shop, entertain in her home and attend plays at The Majestic.

Faith was important to her and she instilled the devotion of family and faith to her children and grandchildren. Faith and family are her legacy.
