Joyce Lozano

Joyce Lozano entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 1, 2024 at the age of 54. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born to Antonio M. Lozano Jr. and Margarita F. Lozano on October 12, 1969 in San Antonio TX.

Joyce was a graduate of South San Antonio high school and worked for Price Elementary as a food service worker. She dedicated her entire life to serving others. She was her parents’ caregiver in their time of need. She loved going to the beach every year with her family. She expressed her love for everyone through her baking. Her favorite pastimes included going to the bingo with her family, swimming, and attending to her flower beds.

She is preceded in death by her parents, infant brother Ernest Lozano, and her beloved fur baby Jasmine Lozano.

Joyce is survived by her siblings, Cynthia Martinez, Antonio (Tony) Lozano III, Martha Lozano (Ben Apaez), Deanna L. Perez (Dario) and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Although Joyce had no children of her own, she was a mother figure to everyone’s children.

Visitation for Joyce will be Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 5:00PM - 9:00PM with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM at Trevino Funeral Home 2525 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio TX 78211. Funeraria Del Angel Trevino (2525 Palo Alto Rd) will open at 8:00 AM for visitors to pay their last respects on Thursday, Janurary 11, 2024. The procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 AM to St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, for a Funeral Mass to begin at 10:00 AM, followed by internment at First Memorial Park in Von Ormy TX.
