Juan Daniel Frausto, a dedicated husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle was called home to his heavenly father on September 4, 2024, at the age of 75 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Melchor Muzquiz, Coahuila, Juan was raised by his loving grandparents at an early age before moving to San Antonio, Texas.
He served in the US Army and then transferred to the US Army National Guard for a total of 10 years.
Juan affectionately known to family as “Daniel” and “Danielito” was a beacon of unwavering friendship and strong will. A hardworking man who valued his family and instilled those values in his children from an early age. He was a man of ambition with a vibrant enthusiasm for all experiences and enjoyed exploring different aspects of life. A resilient man who would bounce back from setbacks and used opportunities for growth, he had a great love for life.
A man of many talents, including being an entrepreneur, rancher, dietician, private detective, and a proud US Army Veteran. He loved ranching, enjoyed watching Indiana Jones and John Wayne movies, cooking BBQ ribs and pork chops, and listened to oldies; but his favorite after a hard day of work, was enjoying a delicious juicy steak with a sweet tea. Juan leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Jose and Romana Ortiz, his mother Irma Garcia and granddaughter Karina Torres.
Juan is survived by his wife Maria Alejandra Frausto, his 5 children, Claudia A. Lopez, Maria M. Frausto, Ana M. Frausto, Daniel A. Frausto and Yesenia Frausto. Juan has 9 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and 1 brother Francisco A Garcia.
We invite all who cherished our dad to join us for a remembrance ceremony at Sunrise Memorial Park and Funeral Home on September 19th. Following the burial, we will share stories, laughter and tears. Just as he would have wished.
