Juan Romero Valadez born on June 24, 1942 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with the Lord on January 16, 2015 at the age of 72. He was a member of the St. Gabriel’s Guadalupanos Society. He retired from City Public Service after 32 years of employment. He is preceded in death by his wife, Yolanda H. Valadez and his son, Juan H. Valadez Jr. He is survived by his children, Diana Perez, Olga V. Alvarado (Mariscio), Santiago H. Valadez (Isabel), Aurora Valadez, Steven Valadez (Margie) and Leticia H. Valadez; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Anita R. Hernandez (Pedro), Rafela B. Gonzalez (Marcelo) and Lupita B. Rodriguez (Robert); also, numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
