Juan Cruz Ybarra

Juan Cruz Ybarra, age 86, passed away October 19, 2021 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in San Antonio, TX on June 26, 1935 to Pablo & Maria Ybarra. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Juan was a Godly man who cared about the church and and everyone he came into contact with.

Mr. Ybarra was preceded in death by his 16 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Olivia Garcia Ybarra; son, John Ybarra; Sister Susie Weidner; Grandchildren Rachel and Jacob Ybarra. Nilda Gutierrez cared for him up until the time of his death.

The Visitation will be 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Service to follow at 9:30 a.m.

The Interment will continue at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors at 10:45 a.m.
