Juan Ricardo "Lefty" Yzquierdo born on May 10, 1959 was called home to be with the Lord on January 05, 2015 and to join his father Tomas R. Yzquierdo, his mother Herminia G. Yzquierdo and brother Tomas Yzquierdo Jr, at the age of 55. He is survived by his wife Elisa Yzquierdo, son Juan Cruz Yzquierdo, stepchildren Vanessa DeLeon, Randy DeLeon and step grandson Jacob DeLeon. Juan was a very loving and caring man. He loved being a good provider to his wife and children. He proudly served in the United Stated Army after graduating high school and went on to become an accomplished RN for 30 years. He loved telling jokes, making people laugh and expressing his passion and loyalty for the Boston Red Sox. He will be dearly missed, but will always live forever in our hearts. A visitation will be held on Monday January 19, 2015 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home from 6-9 pm with a rosary at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 9am. Interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:45 am.
