Juanita P. Lebroke

Janie is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen Lebroke; her children, Matthew Lebroke and Lisa Marie Lebroke; her sisters, Irma Barkley and husband John, and Yolanda Hanson and husband Thomas; her brothers, Jesus Peña Jr. and Salvador Peña. She is also survived by her cherished nieces and nephews: Eric Peña, Jonathan Barkley, Brandon Barkley, and Jessica Rodriguez, along with numerous cousins and extended family.

Janie began her professional journey with the State of Texas and later transitioned to federal civil service. Her career included dedicated service at Fort Sam Houston, Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, and the U.S. Border Patrol, where she retired after 37 years of service.

A woman of unwavering faith, Janie found joy in spending time with family, especially on annual trips to the coast. Her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, guided every aspect of her life. She was an active member of local churches in Del Rio, where she developed many lasting friendships and served as a steadfast pillar in her faith.

Janie will be remembered for her strength, grace, and deep devotion to her family and faith. Her legacy of love, service, and spiritual guidance will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. While she will be dearly missed, we find comfort in knowing she is now in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
