

She is survived by her children: Dr. Edward Milton Jacquet III, Ernest Kusener Jacquet, Richard James Mudd Jacquet, and Juliet Ann Jacquet Sutliff; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Julia Helen was born to Ernest Frederick Kusener (the son of Casper Kusener and Caroline Erbach) and Ada Gertrude Campbell (the daughter of Charles Westley Campbell and Julia Martha Mudd).
Julia Helen Jacquet was born on May 14, 1924 and was raised in San Antonio. Prior to WWII, she met her future husband, a US Army Air Corps pilot in training at Randolph Air field. In July 1943, they married after his return from serving in WWII.
The military life sent them to several worldly locations until they retired in San Antonio, where they continued traveling by motor home from Alaska to Panama or by plane to other continents.
Her love and professional ability to play bridge earned her Life Master Bridge status.
Her family legacy permitted membership to the ancestral organizations of the Daughters of the American Revolution (James Mudd - Valley Forge Staff to George Washington), the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (John W. Smith - last messenger from the Alamo), and the Canary Islands Descendants Association of San Antonio (Juan Curbelo - of the original 16 families that founded San Antonio in 1731.
Interment will be private for the family in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
