She is preceded in death by Manuel Vara, Tiffany Soto, Elias Ochoa Sr.
She is survived by her loving mother, Mary Vara Herrera; her children, Margaret Soto, Adrian Soto, Abby Soto and Ralph Soto and grandchildren, and her siblings, Elias Ochoa, Lorenzo Ochoa, Charlie Herrera, Albert Herrera and Alma Herrera.
Julia enjoyed going to the beach and outdoors, bbqs at mom’s house, playing Loteria with family, loved dancing and music. Julia enjoyed family dinners as well. She was most proud of all her children and grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. At 11:30 AM we will join Julia for her last ride, driving past her childhood home and the final resting place of her dearest family and arriving back at the funeral home for continued visitation. Visitation will continue at the funeral home from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.
Cremation will follow per Julia's wishes.
