Julia grew up in Flatonia, Texas and lived briefly in Houston and Dallas before settling in San Antonio, Texas.
She was very independent, but always looked for ways to help others.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel F. Whitaker; brother, Frankie J. Sembera; and sister, Gladys J. Sembera.
Her loving memory will be forever cherished by her daughter, Myra Hill and husband, David B. Hill; granddaughter, Jennifer L. Hill, all of San Antonio, Texas; grandson, David S. Hill, of Orlando, Florida; brother-in-law, William and Donna Whitaker, of San Antonio, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
