

Justino C. Cortez age 74 of San Antonio passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 after a 3 year battle with Leukemia.
He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Cortez was a retired Federal Agent for the Immigration and Naturalization Service. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years.
He was a member of the American Legion and was a resident of Morningside Meadows. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luis Cortez and Rosa Cantu Cortez. Mr. Cortez is survived by his daughter, Marisa Cortez; son, Justino Cortez, Jr.; grandchildren, Brittany Cortez and Brandon Licciardello; sister, Juanita C. Garcia; nephews, Ernesto Abrego and wife and Eddie Abrego and wife; niece, Graciela De Leon and her husband; and other family in California.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
