Kathleen Shelton Gorkowski, age 97, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Plano, TX. She was born in Pickens County, Alabama, to parents Phillip and Anna (Youngblood) Shelton.
After WWII, Kathleen worked in civil service at Randolph AFB where she met her future husband. She graduated with her teacher's degree from University of Incarnate Word and taught for many years in the Alamo Heights School District. Kathleen was an active member of Trinity Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gorkowski in 2001.
