Kathleen Elizabeth Kidd, “Kathi”, entered into eternal rest May 4, 2012 at the age of 62. She was born February 21, 1950 in the Panama Canal Zone to parents, Doward and Helen Kidd. Kathi graduated from Sam Houston High School and then attended college at South West Texas State University earning a Bachelor’s degree. She worked for the State of Texas in Child Protective Services for many years until she retired. Kathi enjoyed antiquing and helping with estate sales. She was an avid collector of Royal Doulton mugs. Kathi was a loving sister and aunt, taking great pride in her two nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Kathi was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her brother, Michael Kidd and his wife, Sharon; her nephews, Michael Kidd Jr. and wife Marlena and Sean Kidd and wife Bess and their families.
A memorial service will be held May 18, 2012 at 6:30pm at Sunset Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathi’s name may be made to the charity of choice.
