Kathryn Marie Grant

Kathryn M. Grant died in San Antonio on December 30, 2009. She was born to Emma Jehl and Louis Bauml on October 27, 1912 in San Antonio and lived most of her life in the city. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Lee J. Grant; sisters, Agnes Bauml and Eleanor Eiserloh and her husband Barney; brothers, John Bauml, Joseph Bauml, Louis Bauml Jr. and his wife Helen; and granddaughter's husband, Billy Hobbs. She is survived by her children, Shirlie and Gil Kaats of San Antonio, Joan and Bill Heye of Plano, and Martha and Lee Grant, Jr of Boerne; her sister-in-law, Barbara Bauml; grandchildren, Gary and Patricia Tschirhart, Michael and Becky Tschirhart, Patti and Sam Keith, Jeff and Lisa Tschirhart, Lori and Gene Dawson, Julie and Roger Marshall, Pam Tschirhart, Kristi Hobbs, Bill and Marina Heye, Patrick and Brigette Heye, Kathy and Jack Ross, John and Lynn Heye, Jennifer and Trey Tollette, Trip and Cynthia Grant, Molly and Peter Hall; 37 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and many Bauml and Jehl cousins. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Incarnate Word Retirement Center for their compassionate care for Kathryn, with special appreciation to the staff of the Villa.
