Kathryn Bartula Guthrie

Kathryn was born February 24, 1938 to Thomas and Catharine Bartula. Kathryn's life was full of love, fun and happy memories.

She was the pillar of her family and was loved by her husband Jack, her children Lynn, Chris, Kent and Jennifer.

Born in Fort Worth, she created a happy home for everyone everywhere during a "KMart" life with Jack, which lead from San Antonio to Arkansas, Florida, West Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia and finally back to San Antonio where she spent the rest of her life enjoying her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her generosity, compassion, and love of life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Guthrie and son, Kent Guthrie.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Laura Lynn Guthrie (Peter); son, Chris Guthrie (Reba); daughter, Jennifer Dessant (Steven); 6 sisters, Bonnie Bartula, Lena Bartula, Emy Bartula, Patty Williams, Debbie Pennebaker and Nancy Jones; brother, Michael Bartula; grandchildren, Sean , Ryan, Lauren, Kent and Katie and a great-grandchild, Addyson.
