She was born to Roman Anthony Mendoza, Sr. and Mary Davila-Murillo in San Antonio, TX. Kathryn attended St. Paul's Catholic School and St. Anthony High School where she played softball and basketball. She then went on to the University of Incarnate Word for nursing. Kathryn was employed with Chase bank.
Her passions were drawing and playing the guitar. In her adolescence she did Hawaiian Hula dancing.
Kathryn is survived by her father, Roman A. Mendoza, Sr.; mother, Mary Davila-Murillo; brother, Anthony B. Mendoza and Roman A. Mendoza, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Roman B. Mendoza and wife, Hilda C. Mendoza; nephews, Skyler Mendoza and Benjamin Mendoza; niece, Alicia Mendoza. Maternal grandparents, Edmundo Rey Davila and wife, Rosa Davila and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough Ave.
