Kay Elise “Lisi” Abee Hood, born on September 21, 1950, passed away aged 64 from natural causes at her home in Boerne, Texas during September of 2015. A beloved daughter, sister, mother, “Grandee,” and friend, she attended Mount Sacred Heart, Coker Elementary, Garner Middle, and MacArthur High schools of San Antonio.
Elise was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Kathryn Abee and her nephew, Christopher Abee, all from San Antonio. She is survived by sons, Richard (Anne) Hood of Austin and Ryan (Kris) Hood of San Antonio, grandsons, Logan and Rowan, granddaughter, Margaret, brothers, Conrad Mark (Lucy) and Carl (Jayne) Abee of San Antonio, brother, Dr. Christian (Karen) Abee of Paige, lifelong best friend, Luanna Fisher of Azle, and many other family and friends who miss her dearly.
Memorial services will be held for Elise in the chapel at Sunset Funeral Home of San Antonio on Saturday October 10th, 2015 at 2:00 PM.
