One of the really good guys, Keith Thomas Schnell, 57, found his final home in Heaven on November 28th, 2014. Born in Houston, Texas on March 23, 1957, Keith was a uniquely kind, selfless, and genuine man who always made a conscious effort to see the good in everyone he met. He was an absolute inspiration and role model to friends and family, who felt a little bit lighter after spending just a moment with him. He had a long, arduous journey in a nightmare called "cancer," but he handled it with a grace and dignity that is very rarely witnessed. Keith never complained about his disease or displayed anger at the cards he was dealt, instead choosing to devote his energy to his faith and his family. He knew that these trials, no matter how difficult, were a part of God's plan for him, and his faith grew immensely during this time. Keith attended Texas A&M University and made sure to impart his love for Aggieland onto his daughter, Darian. He was a regional controller for Swinerton Builders, but the job he cherished most was being a wonderful father. His dedication to Darian was unparalleled - she was at the center of almost every decision he made.
Keith was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Nita Williams. He is survived by his wife, Raye Schnell and beloved daughter, Darian Schnell; his parents, Dennis and Allaray Schnell; his sisters and their husbands, Denise and John Kaminski, and Nancy and Ken Hakemack; his father-in-law Ben Williams; sister-in-law and husband Kathryn and Mark Atkins; four nieces and one nephew.
