

Kendall Youngblood Simon, beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed on July 15th, 2014. Kendall lived fully and with passion and was a light in the world. She loved deeply and touched those around her. She could walk in a room and bring joy to every person in the room and make the people in the room feel special. Her selflessness knew no bounds and she radiated life. Kendall was dedicated to alleviating suffering, and in particular, to the plight of woman and children who are vulnerable. In lieu of flowers please find an organization that speaks to these issues in your area and donate and celebrate in her memory.
Kendall was born in San Antonio, July 11, 1985. She attended Alamo Heights High School and graduated from the University of Mississippi. She completed her first year in the KATZ MBA program at the University of Pittsburgh as a Fellow 2013/2014 BNY Melon Corporate social responsibility fellow and as a Woodcock Fellow. She was dedicated to corporate social responsibility and worked on project for sustainable Pittsburgh.
She is survived by her husband Cameron Simon, parents, Kim Brusenhan Youngblood, and Sam and Gayle Youngblood; sisters, Abigail Slye (Andrew Slye) and Maitlyn Terry (Blake Terry); brothers, Coke Youngblood and Chase Stockton; and niece, Caroline Terry; Grandparents, Bob and Lollie Bruesenhan, Carolee Youngblood and Marian and Michal Chester; her sisters-in-love, Virginia Simon, Lee Simon, and Alice Carroll Johnson, her brother-in-love Jimmy Simon (Natalye) and Houston Johnson Jr (Kate). Her mother and father-in-love, Melissa and Houston Johnson; godparents, Harriet and Michael Fanning, and Lisa and Fraiser Graham. She is met in heaven by David Hull Youngblood, Senior.
Her greatest accomplishments and loves were her friends and family.
Family visitation will be held this Friday (July 18th, 2014) at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave., San Antonio, Texas from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
