He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1992 and Texas Lutheran College in 1996, where he was a pitcher for the Bulldog baseball team.
He recently fulfilled his lifelong passion for music as tour manager of the Roger Creager Band.
He married his soul mate Shannon on October 16, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Huntington Standley of San Antonio; parents, Bill and Kathy Standley of Deer Park, TX; sister, Brooke Standley of Deer Park, TX; mother and father-in-law, Roscoe and Angie Huntington of San Antonio; sister-in-law, Shae Huntington of San Antonio, grandmothers, Annie Mae Lancaster of Pasadena, TX and Louise Gibbons of Centralia, MO; and great-aunt, Geraldine Corley of Blue Springs, MO; Lucy and Cash; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
