You've been gone for a year.  This pain in our hearts still remain.  It will never go away.  We miss you more than ever but we KNOW you are still around us.  We see the signs you leave us. Kolin, it's coming on 6 months since you were taken away from us. The hurt and pain have not lessened, if anything, the pain and hurt are stronger now.  Our hearts will never heal.  Our hearts are forever broken.  Not one day goes by that I do not think of you.  I sometimes sit and listen to songs that remind me of you, and the tears just flow, still.  We still can't believe you are gone.  How I miss you.  How I miss seeing your beautiful face.  How I miss the funny things you used to say.  I pray every day for your grandma Angel, your mom Ronnie and your aunt Valerie.  If I miss you this much, I can't imagine how much their hearts are aching for you.  Praying doesn't seem like it's enough, but I know God is listening and I know you are right there with Him hearing our prayers too.  I love you and I miss you more than words can say.

My deepest condolences to the family of Kolin. The feeling of loosing a loved one is hard. And having to go through your daily routine without them feels unreal. Kolin was so shy and quiet, funny when he spoke. He would always go over to his best friends house, (which was my cousin) they would always be together in all they did. The weird sound effects and jokes he would come up with made him the person everyone loved. He will be missed. He's gone but never forgotten.

Kolinito, my heart hurts so much. I have cried many tears and I know I will cry many more.  I will remember you always.  I will always see you as this precious curly-haired little boy not wanting to share his toys.  When you were little, you couldn't wait to open your Christmas presents.  This last Christmas, you didn't want to open them in front of any one.  You wanted to open them when you were alone.  How grown up you'd become.  You grew up too fast.  You left us with so many memories, mostly good, many funny ones, and a few bad ones, but that's life.  I have so many "what ifs"  I wish things had turned out differently. I wish I had one more time to tell you I love you.  I wish I had just one more time to see your sweet face and squeeze your cheeks and tell you "I love you Kolinito!"  And one more time to hear you say "I love you too Auntie Stel"  Rest in peace, sweet boy.  I'll see you in Heaven someday.

Jeannette, Kolin has earned his promised reward.  God lent him to you and your family until he was ready to call him back home.  Know that you are better off for having him in your life and also know that he is now up in heaven taking care of you from up above.  Remember the special and good he broughtto you in his short time with you.

Kolin, I've never met you or your great grandparents but yet I 'know you'. Your Tia Jeannette always talks about her close knit family. Being close is one thing that will get them all through this difficult time. I never met you but I know you're doing well. How could you not be with the company you'll be keeping, our God and your great g.parents. I never met you but will one day.
