Born on April 20, 1977, Krista died on December 29, 2024, in San Antonio, TX, at the age of 47.

Survived By

Krista is lovingly remembered by her father, Kenneth Finstuen; her sister, Kendra Casias; her brother-in-law, Darrell Casias; and her cherished nieces, Kaylee and Mya Holland and Sophia Casias.

Preceded in Death By

Krista was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maurice and Rosalie Wenzel and Beulah C. Thompson; her mother, Karen Ann Finstuen; and her former husband, Michael Eastman.

Education and Accomplishments

A dedicated scholar, Krista graduated in 2000 from the University of Houston Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Studio Art. She later earned her master’s degree in psychology from Texas A&M University College of Education in 2010.

Passions and Hobbies

Krista was known for her vibrant sense of humor and her many unique passions. She adored the “Golden Age of Hollywood,” collected flamingos and Barbie memorabilia, and she never met a stranger, seeing the best in people. Her extraordinary talents in art, creativity, and poetry left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A celebration of Krista’s life will be held as an intimate gathering at a later date.
