Lana Christine Dobbins

Lana Christine Dobbins, born August 21, 1985 passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011. She moved from their pecan farm in Eagle Pass to San Antonio at the age of five. Christine had many accomplishments in the start of her life all the while dealing with numerous health issues. She was active in the youth program at St. Mark's Episcopal Church serving as an acolyte and participating in various mission trips. Christine attended Alamo Heights, Castle Hills First Baptist and Lee High School. She began her college years at Schreiner University continuing to Houston Community College. Christine was accomplished in writing and debate which gave her the desire to pursue a degree in Communication. She had planned on attending A&M University in the spring of 2012. Christine had many talents which ranged from hunting on the family property she so dearly loved to planning and preparing a delicious meal. Her sense of humor, wit and love of family will truly be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorothy and Bill Dobbins, Wayne Gumm; aunt, Diane Dobbins and uncle, David Gumm Christine is survived by her parents, Blake and Teresa Dobbins; brother, Mitchell; grandparents, Dorothy and Scott Denison, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and boyfriend, Kyle Ashley.
