Larry Parr age 75 passed away Friday, October 15th, 2021 in San Antonio Texas. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, he entered the Army at the age of 17 years old where he served our country in the Vietnam War as a Paratrooper. He then went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern State College in 1972. He loved spending time with his family, he was always willing to lend a helping hand especially to his neighbors. He was an avid fisherman, pool player and loved the game of poker, but really loved to play any game as long as it was with family and friends. One could learn a lot by simply spending time quietly sitting in the same room with him. We are certain there are many things that we will continue to learn from him in the future as we reflect on our past conversations. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Vernona, twin brother Harry and son Tre. He is survived by his wife Carole, son Andy and his wife Gina, daughter Angela and her husband Corey, daughter Torre and her husband Gus, brother Dick and his wife Kathy, sister Julie and her husband Chris, as well as his sisters Barbara and Charlotte. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and many wonderful nieces and nephews. The family will receive family and friends from 5 to 7 pm on Sunday, October 24th 2021 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
