Larry enlisted on his 17th birthday and retired in 1981 after 26 years in the US Air Force.
Larry taught at Floresville High School for 11 years, where he had some of his fondest memories with his students.
Preceded in death by, his parents, Larry and Inez Blaylock; and sister, Judy Riggs.
Survived by his wife of 51 years, Audrey Blaylock; children, Larry D. Blaylock II and wife Suzanne, Kelly Franzone and husband Philip, and Trayce Blaylock; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Brittney, Morganne, and Annabelle; siblings, Joan House, Terry Blaylock, and Debbie Missey; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
