Laura Emiko was the youngest of six children and was doted on by her siblings; Jimmy, Betty, Richard, Michael and Mary. She spent her early life in Fayetteville and made many childhood friends in this area. After graduating High School, she and a close friend relocated to Wisconsin where she met her future husband and was married in 1993 at her childhood home in Fayetteville, NC. The marriage did not last, but they had two amazing children: Andrew and Evelyn.
The family, Emiko, Drew and Evie, relocated from Wisconsin to San Antonio, Texas to be close to her sister, Mary Quezada and family. Emiko and Mary were quite a duo and shared many passions, including love of family, crocheting and “game night”. They welcomed everyone and managed to adopt a few strays along the way. Emiko, also known as just “Ko”, was a massive nerd known especially for her love of gaming. She was very passionate and enjoyed her work at Precision Pathology Services, at which she worked for sixteen years. There, she made many lifelong friends.
