Laurence Jay Medina

Laurence Jay Larry Medina was born in San Antonio, TX on Sept. 26, 1961. He and his beloved wife, Cynthia Virginia MacCharles Medina went to be with their Lord Jesus, together, after an automobile accident in California on Dec. 28, 2000. He leaves, his precious daughter Acacia Lauren Medina of San Antonio, his loving parents, Lydia and Dennis Janda of Irving, TX; his brother and sister, Geoffrey and Amy Kaeufer of Long Island, NY; his devoted grandparents, Antonio and Celia Espinoza of San Antonio; aunts, Marisa Ann Meznarich, Mary Lou Hoofard, Olivia Sandoval, Linda Garcia, their spouses and children, all of San Antonio. Laurence was preceded in death by his father, Joe Medina, Jr, his grandparents, Joe Medina, Sr and Mary Medina Mitchell. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio in 1978. He was presently employed as a Program Manager by Cisco Systems and previously worked at TRI in Austin, and SBC Corp for many years in San Antonio and St. Louis. We are grateful to our God for sharing Laurence and Cindy with us for their short time on earth, and will miss them more than can be said. We are however, assured that they are now together in perfect peace and we will see them again in Heaven. In that truth we find our comfort.
