She had a long career in banking and was currently employed at American Bank of Texas in Garden Ridge.
She was an avid volunteer with the Lions Club of Garden Ridge and devoted many hours to the center. Laurie's greatest love was spending time with family and friends.
She will be remembered for her sweet personality and good-hearted nature.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Kirkland.
Laurie is survived by her son, Rex Lee II and wife, Courtney; step-son, Hank Lee and wife, Janie; grandchildren: Katherine Aparicio, Rex Lee III, Hank Lee Jr. and Lianna Lee; great-grandson, Hank Lee III; her beloved pet, Peaches.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13th from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
