You are going to be an aunt soon. :) Sissy Panda Rene is engaged to Cody. Sylus and Cody and her are off for the weekend. <3 Chris, Bubby, is doing very well. He is taking care of himself - placing God first in his life. Spending time with his babies every chance he can. Celeste and Lil Chris are growing up fast! Our grand babies are precious to us! Bubby, Adam married Crystal. :) You have a sister-in-law now. I know you would love your future brother-in-law and your sister-in-law! Your bigger sister Dominga just got married to James. All this since January! 
Baby girl, we pray every day. We give God the glory for everything. Happy heavenly birthday, my littlest angel! Leas Maries, I close my eyes and hug you close to my heart. I have to say good night and then good morning soon.

Hello Sweetheart. You have been on my mind a lot - and on my heart, always. As you know, there has been a lot going on. I love you so much my precious angel. Here we are - another year coming up. Remembering you on Dada's birthday . . . I got  a 4 day weekend off just to be with Dada and to have time alone with you. No interruptions. No matter, baby of mine, I just wanted this time to cherish thoughts and memories with you and of you. I think this will get easier . . . but a Mom does not forget her baby!
I just would look at the month of April and I was looking forward to this time with you. Dada and I call this your other birthday. You were born into heaven. That is what gives me peace. A very bittersweet peace. I also was looking forward to  this time with Dada. His birthday. Baby I love your Dada. I don't question God as to why you are gone from this life. I miss you terribly! But I look forward to being with you whenever God calls me home. How is Peter? Please tell him I love him very much. How is grandma and grandpa? And cousin Justino and Jerry? Please, Sweetheart, tell them all that I love them. We spent time at your grave site. I hope you like the stone. 
What a time! . . . Good Friday. Yes it was a good Friday. As you know this has been a pretty hard week. Now today is Easter. We celebrate that our Lord has risen! What a joy! Church services were wonderful. With joy also at times comes sorrow. I understand that now you have another cousin in your company. Dominic is leaving us tomorrow. On your second birthday. 
I cry. This is very difficult. :( Your cousin, his mom, Telda is in great pain. We hurt for the family. As heaven rejoices for the beautiful souls that have recently arrived, we are left here to continue to carry the torches.

My baby sister was loved very much. She had some wonderful parents who did anything and everything for their Sunshine. She had some very great nurses who took care of her like she was one of their own children. Her providers were very amazing and would dress her up and put jewelry on her and fixed her hair very pretty. She had massage therapists, teachers and doctors who all treated her with love and care. I'm very grateful that she had such wonderful people in her life. She brought so many together and touched the hearts of us all.

There are no words to express how grateful I am that God blessed us with such an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, grand-daughter and niece. My heart hurts for the loss of such a precious life here on earth. But deep down I rejoice that she is running on streets of gold in a new body without pain and full of life. She is giving praise to out Lord and Savior in His presence. 

To my parents, I can't imagine the pain ya'll feel losing a child my heart is with ya'll and to all parents who have lost children. Ya'll are the most wonderful parents any of us could ask for . Thank you so much for your love and strength. For your support and care.

Good evening and thank you all for being here. I'm Lea's second oldest brother, Christopher. My baby sister was very much a miracle child. I can't even count how many times doctors would say she wouldn't make it, but time and time again, she proved them wrong. It was through God's grace that she was able to overcome her trials. From birth to getting sent to the nursing home for a few months and being away from her family. From her G-button procedure to her tracheostomy surgery. From having seizures to not being able to see or hear well and pains in her back, scoliosis and pain in her hips and legs and arms from the joints not growing right. Through all her pain and being bed-ridden for her 14 years, not once did she complain. Accept for when I picked on her.
It was such a blessing the first day she was able to come home. We were all fighting over who was going to hold, feed and bath her. I remember one time after I gave her a bath and I was drying her off she pooped on me. That was my first time ever getting pooped on. My mom told me it was because she was comfortable with me. That made me feel a lot better because I really wanted to spank her pamper. After a while though I wasn't able to bathe her or change her anymore because she was growing into a beautiful young lady. I was still able to help out in other ways though. I carried her to her swing. Held her to do CPT's, suction her and fed her. I really wish I could've done more of all those things.

Hello, Sweetest Angel!
You have been in our hearts and on our minds. One year has passed. Sweet little child of mine, this has been a difficult time. You were not here to graduate with me. I did not sacrifice and struggle through education alone - my whole family went through it with me. You earned your part of it. I did not do this for myself, if not for my family, too. For you baby girl. I looked at the stands and the stage and pictured that you could not be there with us. At least not in person, but at least you were with us in Spirit. 
Another May . . . .  I miss you Lea Marie! I love you so much! 
We finally got into our house. A home that was to be your home, too. We're trying to make it come together. You are here with us. In our hearts. Your home is a room in a Mansion!!!  One day we will be together again. <3 <3 <3

It's just not the same without you. I know, it is not supposed to be. You were meant to be with us for a season. I still treasure my time alone with you. Mando y Sandra también quiero decir que los acompaño en su dolor, y en su tremenda perdida,  siento mi corazón quebrantado y triste. Con un vacío por la ausencia de su princesita Lea.  Ella siempre tendrá un lugar muy especial en mi corazón, que  ahora estoy llenando de lindos recuerdos. Lea tocó y unió a muchas personas, que  ahora también  son especiales...no hay un botón para aprender o apagar el cariño, o estimación que  crecio en esos años,  muchas gracias por su generoso corazon y que  nuestro Padre Celestial los fortalezca, les de resignación y valor  para seguir adelante cada dia.

Tuve la  bendición de  trabajar con Lea en 2013,  Fue bonito conocerla y saber mas de ella y las cosas que le gustaban... a mi me gustaba ver su reacción,  de cuando Mando  venía a saludarla con besos y mucho amor, ella volteaba su carita siguiendo la voz,  para recibirlo con una hermosa sonrisa. Recuerdo que a Lea  le gustaba mucho su columpio, donde se relajaba viendo sus películas favoritas de Frozen y Mohana... En muchas ocasiones nos llevaron a comer, Sandra abrazaba a Lea y la sentaba en sus piernas mientras comiamos, esta vez me toco sentarme enfrente de ellas, y pude precenciar como Lea ilumino ese lugar, con una bella y cálida   sonrisa, correspondiendo a las caricias y palabras amorosa de su madre!...me toco el corazon, casi me pongo a llorar! fue hermoso!!!  Lea también le gustaba cuando le secaba el pelo, y la posiciónaba a su lado izquierdo, donde ella estuviera cómoda, que asta se dormia... Mando y Sandra se que a sido un tiempo muy duro y difícil ver que Lea ya no está con nosotros, y siempre ese vacío y dolor estará alli, yo también  eh tenido 5 amados que  pasaron al descanso, y por eso me aferro a las promesas de las escrituras, donde Jesús se refirióa la muerte como un sueño, cuando dijo "No esta muerto sino durmiendo" Jesús los despertó a Lazaro, al hijo de la viuda y a la hija de Jairo que  tenia 12 años y el mismo que se levantó después de muerte, tengo esperanzas de la nueva tierra y del nuevo cielo, donde Jehova destruirá la muerte y ya no habra, dolor y lagrimas. Jesús vino para darnos vida en abundancia y vida eterna, buscando simpre a nuestro Salvador, amigo, abogado que  intercede por nosotros, y que por medio del Espíritu Santo nuestros ombres queden escritos en el libro de la vida.  Muchas gracias por abrir su corazón y su hogar para nosotros,  siempre nos trataron como si fuéramos miembros de la familia, y también por sus detalles bondadosos.   Agradezco a Dios por la familia  Yzaquirre, y que  Dios los siga fortaleciendo y bendiciendo

December 31, 2017 counting down to the New Year 
Sweetheart, I'm here again. We just "celebrated" Thanksgiving for the first time without you. (That's so hard to say!) There has been a lot of loss this year. I know you know that. I know you got see your cousin Justino and your Favorite Uncle Jerry arrive with you in heaven! You know how your Uncle Jerry loved you and would kiss your little face in the gentlest way. I know he had to have given you a very special hug. I bet you got to see his little boy Jerry! How is Peter? And your Grandparents? Tell them I love them and miss them. Yes, we did have a lot to be thankful for this year. Above all the hurt and pain we may feel, we still have been blessed. I know time will pass and this time will get easier. But just know that that means it will be closer to us being together again. 
We just celebrated Christmas. Yes, no matter what, that is a celebration. Christ was born, our Prince of Peace. Matchless! Hug Jesus feet for me and Dada. Thank you, baby.
Now Dada and I are here between homes, waiting to bring in the New Year. We both have the flu and are staying away from everyone. Sweetest Angel, it's cold outside! Our new home is not ready to move into. Did you see how Dada put your name into the foundation? Our plans are to make a flower garden. We have never done this, but we will do our best. We will have a lot of colors in it!
This is another difficult holiday. Our first of many without your presence. But, Lea Marie, you are in our hearts. Mijita, through my friend, we were told how you looked standing beside Mama. You had a little dove and a little boy stood beside you and an older woman stood behind you. You were smiling and shining! So full of joy! The older woman called to you a couple of times and told you it was time to go. We also had another sign from God in the clouds of 2 little child faces. 
When I pray, I know that I only need to call upon Jesus name. And I do. When I want to remind my little girl of a job I asked her to do, I do ask you to continue to pray for your brothers and sister, too.  Jesus is Good! All the time! And all the time Jesus is Good! Dada and I say so! Your niece and nephews, Celeste, Chris, and Sylus, are growing big! Like the weeds on a Spring day! Dada says.
Lea, thank you for being our sweetest little girl. Thank you for talking to God for us. We will continue to do so, too. Thank you for being the child God asked you to be for us and teaching us what you did. There is a huge void in our hearts. I pray that God will give us the patience and show us where to go from here. We have a job. That Our Lord may direct our steps. 
We will press on to win the race. You did your race and achieved the victory to be in Christ's presence.

Lea. My sweetest angel. I miss you. I love you. We look at your pictures and talk to you. God is Good. Although we are heartbroken, we know you will be there when He calls us home. I see your beautiful face, your beautiful eyes, your smile, and your little attitudes. How you would peek from under your night eye coverings, just waiting for us to remove it and spend time with our special bonding. <3 I look forward to the day that I can hold you and kiss your sweet soft round little face! Life went by too fast. You helped us slow down and appreciate the "now" moments. We still have not been able to watch your favorite movie, "Moana". We will hear some of the songs from it, but that's about it. I didn't know that the time I spent with you would be so cherished as I do now. I was never supposed to see your name anywhere except on school report cards, birthday cards and on graduation diplomas. But now I find your name in memorials. I continue to re-live that fateful day that our Lord called you home. My sweet baby Girl, I thank God and I thank you for waiting for me to be with you. In the 11 years I have gotten to work with Lea Marie, she has taught me so much. I'm suppose to be the "teacher", but she has taught me. She has taught me to be patient, she has taught me to smile and laugh, she has taught me to be strong and above all she has taught me about perserverance and dedication. Lea Marie never gave up. no matter how much she hated doing the activities I put in front of her she would do them. Whether it took two minutes or twenty, she completed them.
The greatest thing about Lea was her love for her family. The way her face would light up when they came into the room was amazing.
I am blessed and thank God for the chance to be apart of Leas life and will cherish every memory I have of her.

I LOVED YOU WITH EVERY BREATH I HAD WHEN YOU WERE HERE, AND EVEN SO NOW THAT YOU ARE HOME WITH GOD. I am Thankful to GOD for all HE has done in our lives with you and through you. I remember I would think of this day where I would be missing you deep in my heart, and I Hoped it would never come, but I knew in some day it would. It is one of the hardest things we your family have ever faced, but GOD our FATHER had been working in strengthening us. HE could have taken you back in 2008 when you got very sick on us, but HE knew we would fall apart as a family without your presence at that time. I believe HE decided to give us more time, but at the same time start preparing us for what was to come. HE gave us 9  more wonderful years for us to learn of HIS Love for us, and for us to learn how to Love each other and others through you. We enjoyed LOVING you the way we did. 
 You are a strong child in GOD and I saw HIM living in you, (I say you are a strong child in GOD because you are very much alive in HIS Kingdom now) whole and without pain. I remember all the pain you endured while still having a smile on your face how it has taught me so much. The LOVE you showed and the way you touched so many people's lives without speaking a word, and the patience you displayed gave me an understanding of how CHRIST JESUS wants us to live. I have learned so much from you living with us through the years. For me to be mad that GOD took you from us so early would be selfish. I am so grateful to HIM for all the years we were Blessed with you, because I remember so clearly as if were yesterday when you were born. I remember the doctor when he came out of the OR and told me he had done all he could. The thought that raced through my mind was the worse, but when I asked if I could see you and he told me you were on your way to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; my heart was filled with JOY.
You overcame many challenges in your life. Starting from birth we were told you would probably not make it out of the hospital, and 6 weeks later we came home with you.in our arms. Then there was the time you were in the nursing home in Temple, TX. We were told you would not feel any pain being apart from us even though we would live the pain, and we learned you cried for hours on straight, and once again the doctors and social workers were wrong just like before. I also remember when I would wake up in the middle of the night with the feeling something was going on with you. I felt our LORD waking me up to check on you many times, and finding out you were on the way to the hospital every time (GOD is GOOD). We were so thankful the day you came back home where you belonged. I thank our LORD for HE is our Great Physician and HE is in control of our lives. HE holds us in the palm of HIS hand and no one can snatch us out. It is in HIS time and only in HIS time that we will be called home. There were many times you went through hardships in life, too many to try to write about, but in GOD'S name and through HIM you overcame them all. 
I know where you are my SUNSHINE I know where you are. You are in the presence of our Creator. I am thankful to know the first steps you took and your first words were in the presence of the LORD. Someday when HE calls us all home whether one at a time or all together at the rapture, we will all be together again forever more. I thank GOD HE has chosen your mom, brothers, sister, and me to be a part of HIS kingdom just as HE chose you, and HE did this before the foundations of the world were formed. I'm grateful HIS promises stand forever and that HE is the truth, because I'm looking forward to our reunion. This is from my heart to yours.

Lea baby girl I remember the time I was holding you you and your family came down to visit. You gave me the biggest scare of my life. You went into having spasms or something I didn't know what to do but big brother Adam stepped right in and took over, he knew what to do, but it amazed me that your brothers and sister knew exactly what to do for you. Your family showed how much they loved you so many times. There was never any question about that. You were one special little girl that had so many people that loved you. You will always have a special place in my heart. You will forever be in my thoughts.

LEA, in the short time you were here on earth you taught everyone so much . You didn't speak but your smile spoke volumes . It was amazing to see you light up when you heard people speak to you and love on you . you will be forever in our thoughts, and in our hearts . We love you baby lea !!

Mando and Sandy, I miss seeing the totally selfless way you cared for Lea Marie.  You were blessed to have her, and she was blessed to have you.  I was always so in awe of you both.  My heart breaks for your loss.  God bless you and keep you both in His Almighty embrace.

Yesterday was another hard day. But the service, singing, my sisters eulogy, the luncheon and the burial were all very beautiful and perfect for my parents little princess. Thank you to all of our church family, immediate and extended family, coworkers, friends, my sisters doctors and nurses and everyone who helped and came to make her day wonderful. We thank yall very much from the bottom of our hearts. This isn't goodbye my sweet beautiful momma bear. We will be together again Sunshine

You always had a smile on your face when you heard the kids feet running through the house.  I wish you didn't have to leave us so soon. My heart hurts knowing that I won't be able to see you anymore but I know times  were  tough and God called you home to rest. You'll always be our sunshine that shines everyday. Till we meet again.

God is going to love having you next to him. Sweet Baby Lea, I just can't believe that you are gone. I miss you my little girl. Little one, I remember when I knew that you were going to be born with many disabilities. God let me know. I prayed and begged God to not let it be so. But again, he let me know. So even before you were born, the tragedy of the crisis emergency C section and the time it took for the staff to revive you, I cried for you. I thanked God that you were alive and with us. My sweet baby, I remember how it broke our  heart to see you with all those lines and tubes. Yes, it was a struggle. But you were our miracle child. The time we had together was way too short. I cannot believe that this is real. We will not see you again in this world. I miss you. I miss your beautiful face, your beautiful smile and I so miss the way you would look over at me with your beautiful eyes. You spoke volumes to me, my sweet angel. You completed what you were here to do. Now it is time for your Mama and Dada and brothers, Chris and Adam, and your sister, Amanda, to do what we are here for. Celeste, Little Chris and Sylus miss their Tia. I can't wait to see you again! I love you so much my little baby, My Lea Marie!


I wanted to say a few words in remembrance of Little Lea, because I didn't have the courage to say anything last night and sometimes brothers are right, I'd most definitely regret not saying anything. 
I remember wishing and praying for a little sister. When my parents told me they were having a baby girl I couldn't have been more ecstatic. I was thinking finally a girl I can play dolls and dress in her cute little outfits and it'll be an even fight with the boys. When it came time for Little Lea to make her big debut I felt so special for being asked to accompany my parents to the hospital for her arrival. I remember how terrifying it was seeing my mom being wheeled out of the delivery room into the O.R for an emergency c section. We later found out that Lea was going to be a special baby if she lived passed their expectations. Growing up with a special Little girl like Lea in the beginning I was so in love with having a baby sister with such strong lungs and the cute little faces she'd make when she smile and cry. I hadn't really thought about the sound of her cry in years until the other day. 
Time, doctors, and health care agencies flew by and then she had needed more care it was devastating, i felt like i was growing apart from my baby sister. We got stares in public when we would feed or suction her, knowing they didn't understand what was wrong with her and they didn't know that she felt and showed emotion she'd even turn her eyes toward you when she heard you talking. 
She taught me not to worry about what they thought and to embrace what is different.
My parents did a great job at trying to make our summers the best, I remember the resort they rented and being there with Lea for the weekend.
They never stopped living.
After i moved out they'd take her to do things I didn't get to.
 I would somewhat jokingly ask why they never took me to get pampered , nothing could change the love I had for her and our parents. I loved that they would get out when they were able to with Lea. I now realize that it's because she was a very special Little girl that couldn't do as much as other little girls making their options limited to shoplifting at Nordstrom, Dillard's, JC Penney for way cuter outfits than I ever had, having spa days, and being completely spoiled.
She taught me not to be ungrateful. 
Even after living with her most of our life I still feel like I didn't spend enough time just taking it easy talking to her, doing her massages, painting her nails, playing with her thick beautiful Rapunzel hair. 
Without even realizing it she was strengthening our family. Year by year preparing us for this day. God and i know we weren't ready for her to go be with Him in 2008. We most definitely would have fallen apart at the seams without Lea. I give thanks that He let us keep her for a few more years to learn more from her. I never quite understood how someone could rejoice after a loved one is taken way too soon until today. I learned to rejoice today knowing our Little Lea isn't hurting or uncomfortable.
Lea taught me to love unconditionally. 
 When I think of her being in heaven I picture her singing in a sweet little voice skipping and running around her grandparents feet. Today is one of the hardest days in our life and I ask that you all keep our family in your prayers for the strength to overcome this together.

A angel on earth is now living with angels in heaven. She was truly blessed having Sandra and Armando as caring and loving parents. God bless you both.

Mr.& Mrs. Yzaguirre- Lea knew one thing for sure, she was a very loved girl!!   You showed that to her EVERYDAY. She now is a healthy little girl in God's arms  & she will greet you at the gate when it is time!! She remains your angel in heaven.  May God wrap his arms around you & comfort you during this time.

What a blessing to have an angel living in your house and thank you for sharing her love  with us. She was indeed a ray of sunshine for us all.   In her short life here with us she endured more love then anyone can ever imagine. Share a smile every time she comes to mind for she always greeted us with one.  We will all miss her but she's in a place where there's no pain, walks on a road made of gold and nothing but happiness around her.  Some day we will all rejoice with her. You have the Lord in your heart, he will pull you through.

What a blessing to have had an angel living in your house and what an honor for us to share your blessing as well. Never will I forget that big smile of hers that was always there to greet us. Now you will have God and your special angel always looking down upon you. She now walks on roads made of gold and knows no pain. Always in our hearts.
