

After a courageous battle with cancer, Lee Allen Gamez, 41, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at his home in San Antonio, Texas on November 6, 2015. Lee was born in Eldorado, Texas on August 27, 1974 and spent his early years in Sonora and San Antonio, Texas. The family later moved to Clovis, California where he graduated from Kingsburg High School. He later returned to San Antonio, Texas, studied at San Antonio City College and worked as a technician for ADT Security Services.
He was one of four sons born to Fide and Gina Gamez and was the beloved father of Amelia Gamez. Lee will forever be remembered by his devoted brothers Mark (wife Sylvia), Scott (wife Penny), and his identical twin Max (wife Angie), loving nieces Felisha Gamez (of Clovis, CA), Makayla and Makenzi Gamez; nephews Max and Esteban Gamez (of San Antonio), Marcos, Keanu, and Juan Gamez (of Sonora, TX), along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
Lee loved playing golf, basketball, and a wide variety of sports, including being a great fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed laughing, spending time and having fun with his family and friends.
Lee touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
Friends and family are invited for visitation at Porter Loring Mortuary North located at 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas 78232 on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 4:30 pm with a Rosary service to be held at 7 pm. Memorial Mass will be held at 3843 Bulverde Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78259 at Shrine of Saint Padre Pio of Pietrelcina on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 10:30 am.
Lee was a bright light that shined in the lives of those around him. His laugh, smile, fun spirit and loving heart will always be remembered and missed. We will always love you.
