"Take my hand, walk this road of life with me. All I'll ever need is you with me." Lee Jay, loving husband, daddy to four beautiful children and best friend to them all. He left this life suddenly to enter into God's waiting arms. The greatest joy in his life was watching as his children grew into the loving individuals they were created to be. He spent time teaching them to fish, hunt, and cheered them on as they excelled in sports and school as leaders. His laughter and playfulness filled our home with love. The most valuable gift Lee Jay imparted, however, was his unconditional love; always compassionate, loving, and forgiving quickly. Lee Jay was always there for anyone who needed him; whether it was to lend a helping hand, offer an ear to listen, share sound advice from his heart or simply be a shoulder to cry on. His compassionate heart extended to both humans and animals. It was not uncommon for him to bring home a wounded bird to nurture to health, a stray dog in need of a home or a cat that would claim him. It's so hard to understand why such a loving heart would stop beating so suddenly, yet still we trust in God's will. His career was in grocery sales having worked for Pepsi, Coke, and currently Big Red/7 Up of South Texas. He was excellent at his job, a hard worker, and was always willing to share his vast knowledge with those new to the trade. He was preceded in death by his father, Cleburne Schultze; father-in-law, Rolland Freed; nephew, Joshua Meurin. Lee Jay is survived by his wife, Michelle Schultze; children, Connor, Nathan, Faith, and Fabian Schultze; mother, Annie Schultze; sister, Stephanie Meurin and Ed Perry; brothers, Britt & wife, Marlene, Brian & wife, Pam; mother-in-law, Ann Freed; nephews and niece, Bryce Schultze, Brindan Schultze and wife, Missy, Christopher Schultze & wife, Kim, Katelynn Schultze and Jeremy Meurin; numerous friends and family.
