Len Hoppe passed away peacefully in San Antonio on January 11 after a lengthy illness.A graduate of the University of Texas, he had an illustrious career in the advertising industry. A brilliant and creative individual, Len was known for his keen sense of humor, compassion, and ability to remember lines from hundreds of movies, as well as every golf course he ever played.
He is survived by his wife Vicki Pitluk; children Jeff (Annie) Hoppe and Jennifer (Michael) Kapavik; beloved Papa to grandchildren Aiden, Mallory, Silas and Keiran; four-legged kids Bubbles, Miss Priss, Bijou and BOB; nephews Dale and Frank Wood; in-laws Judith Lachman and Barry Pitluk; and family of the heart Audrey Merin, Matt Million, Steve Dietrick, Lana and Larry Brees; and the RCC 10:30 Group.
A private family event will be held later. Memorial contributions may be made to PugHearts rescue, First Tee, or a cause of choice. Special thanks to Aidee of Prodigious Hospice and Nick in Methodist Hospital’s ER.
