Leonor C. Bonilla, age 92, went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on June 17, 1928 in Mc Queeny, Texas. Leonor was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. Leonor was a seamstress for 35 years with many of them spent at Dixie Flag Company. She was also a caring, registered foster parent, and a long time member of the Guadalupanas of San Juan de Los Lagos church.
Leonor was preceded in death by her parents, Gervacio and Trinidad Cervantes; her husband of 40 years, Eduviges Bonilla; and her sister, Lydia Cervantes-Rios. CShe is survived by her children, Maria and husband, Rick Pineda, Manuel "Manny" Bonilla, Maria and husband, Cipriano Alegria, Mike Bonilla and wife Niece Williams, and Cathy Fernandez; her brothers, Monico Cervantes and Marcelino ervantes; her sister, Bertha Garcia; nieces and nephews, and grandchildren, Adrian, Alex, Catherine, Xavier, Victor, Gina, Vanessa, Brenda, Bailie, Angie, Louis, Leo, Barbara Rose, and Manuel John; 31 great grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 1 from 5-9 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino on Cupples Rd. (Chapel of Prayer) with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00.
