It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of beloved mother and grandmother

Leonor Mendiola Lopez who passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 102 on December 2,2015.

She is preceded in death by her husband Vicente Lopez, Son Manuel Hernandez, Brother Ramon Mendiola and his wife Guadalupe Mendiola, Daughter Antonia Puente and her husband Asuncion Puente, step-daughter Aurora Medrano, Daughters in law Beatriz Barrera and Lita Bell Barrera and son in law Leandro Castro.

She is survived by her Daughter Carolina Castro, sons: Martin Barrera, Ricardo Barrera (Mary Lou) and step son Joe Barrera. She is also survived by over 5 generations of grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5pm and a rosary will be held at 7pm on Sunday December 6, 2015. This will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home at 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237. A mass will be held on Monday December 7, 2015 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 1204 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237. Interment will follow the mass at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
