Lillian L. Shaw

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Loren Fitzsimmons and Roger Fitzsimmons. Lillian is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Duane Shaw Sr; their children: Brenda Shaw, Michael Shaw, Charles Shaw, Leona Shaw, and Duane Shaw Jr; brother, Clifford Fitzsimmons; sister, Cheryl Fitzsimmons; eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She dedicated her life to her belief in God, family, and friends. She worked very hard to provide a better life for her family. She loved attending church and helping with Sunday School and other church activities. Some of her favorite hobbies were bowling, playing cards, sewing and crafts. She loved cooking and baking. She enjoyed rummaging through a thrift stores and flea markets. Lillian really enjoyed a day at the lake. She loved fishing and camping. She was an avid fisherman.

She touched the hearts of so many. She is deeply loved by all her Family and Friends. Her presence will be missed, but we will hold her in our hearts forever.

Pastor Myers Drew will officiate. Interment will be held on Thursday, June 3rd, 2021 at 10:45 am at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Talley Road Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
