She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years CWO Jack H. Sprowl as well as her parents and two sisters, Thelma Jean Thomas of San Antonio and Margaret McFarland of Seguin. She is survived by her two sons, Wayne Sprowl and wife, Patricia of Bulverde, Jim Sprowl and wife, Laurie of Fair Oaks Ranch and daughter, Susan Lewis and husband, Mark of San Antonio; two grand-daughters, Heather Aaron and Reagan Cotter of San Antonio; grand-sons, Jeff Sprowl of Denver and Denton & Brandon Lewis of San Antonio; great grand-daughters, Abby Clemens and Sophia Desmond & Chloe Cotter; and great grand-son, Jackson Aaron. She was an active member of Churchill Baptist Church. Lillian Ruth was the happiest when spending time with her family.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Neil Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
