Lillie was part of my life since age 5, in approximately 1962, when my father was stationed at Lackland AFB, and we became neighbors.  Mary and Janice, the first friends I made and retained the duration of my life.  I will miss our cards and emails, but know that she and Bob, are forever in my heart.   Distance and time will never change that. 

Lilly was a very special person.  She always had a smile and kind words for everyone.  I believe that God puts special Angels here on earth, to help take care of his children.  Lilly Mae, was and is, one of God's Angels.  I love her very much

whether it was at Zipoers or bunco, we always shared missed n hugs.  I will miss her dearly. But know she is in heaven now n we will see her soon.  love to all.

So sorry to hear the loss of Aunt Lillie . She was always such a  sweet person .  I know she is in  Heaven now with Uncle Bob  singing with Jesus.  May the loving arms of Jesus wrap his arms around you both and the rest of your family .  I love you all❤️🙏🏻

Lillie was a kind and gentle friend. I am going to miss her smile , and all she did for Zion. She will be missed.

Last Sunday morning, I never imagined that it would be the last time that I would get to see  Lillie.   I always looked for her smiling face  at the ladies' Sunday morning coffee and then sat with her and daughter Janice at the early morning service.  Frequently I'd play Mexican train dominoes with her at the church seniors' Monday games.  It's strange to think about going to Zion Lutheran Church without seeing Lillie there.  She contributed so much of her time and talents to the church and her family and friends.   I'll truly miss Lillie.

Lillie was considered family to our family after Kendall and Eric were married.  We were always greeted with a warm hug and big smile! She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother and great grandmother and a God loving woman with tremendous faith. She was like a second Mother to Kendall as they lived together for many years when Kendall was a little girl.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her but our loss is her gain and she is in heaven now  and we will one day meet again. 

Ms Lillie was such a wonderful lady, so devoted to and proud of her family!  I will miss her Sunday morning hugs. I look forward to seeing her again in heaven. 

My heart is deeply saddened by Lillie's passing.  I only knew Lillie for less then a year.  I met her at Zions Crafty Bunch.  Every since that first meeting, she always greeted me at church with a big smile!!  She made me feel so welcome.  I will truly miss Lillie.  What a sweet, loving person. Hugs and prayers go out to your loving family. She will be greatly missed.

I played dominoes  with her at Zion church. She used to help me play during the game. It was our secret. Praying for the family for their loss. May Lillie RIP.

Ms. Lily I'm so saddened to hear of your passing you are a beautiful soul inside and out I remember the first time I met you was at Zion you greeted me with a big smile and a great big hug after that we became friends I will always miss your smile hugs our talks and sharing of recipes may you rest in peace with our heavenly father and his angels 

Janice , Mary and family:  God has blessed Zion over so many years starting with Otto and Edna Gass who pioneered the Helotes area and built the house Lillie was born in.  Monday night at Ruth circle she was telling about giving a great grandchild a tour of the remodeled homestead, laughing because the room she was born in is now the kitchen❗️Over the years Dick and I were proud to be close friends with Edna, Stella, Joe, David and Barbara, who have been wonderful members. Later Lillie and Robert came back to Helotes and we had many years of Zion friendship.  Recently We shared in seeing her grandkids grow up in Zion, and now the great grands! She and I talked last night about new babies our families will be blessed with this fall.  Yes Zion has been blessed in many ways, and will continue to be blessed into the future✝️  I will miss Lillie’s loving ways & coffee making❗️

Lillie was always like another grandma to me. She watched me grow and blossom into the person I am today. She was also a light in people's darkness. When I went off to college, we would send letters to each other and it made being away from home a little bit better. She could always put a smile on my face and she always gave the best hugs.

She gave the biggest and best hugs. Lillie and I share the same birthday, September 11th and the two of us would try to beat the other getting our cards to each other and then laugh about it.  Lillie always was there for anyone. Very warm, giving friend. I will miss her beautiful smile, friendship and her hugs.  Love you Lillie, Peace be with you.

Lillie, I was so sad to hear of your passing.  You were a beautiful person inside and out.  You will be missed.  You were always there for anyone who needed help.
