Born in San Antonio, Texas, to Enemorio and Olga Garcia, Linda was a lifelong woman of strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion to God. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; her precious granddaughter, Danielle DeLeon; and her brother, Roel.
Linda leaves behind her loving husband of over four decades, Jesse DeLeon; her sons, Pete, Rene, George, Jesse Alan, and Michael; her treasured daughters-in-law, Teresa, Rhonda, Elena, and Cynthia; her 13 adored grandchildren; and her siblings, Ricardo (Ricky), Enemorio (Moyito), and Betty.
Linda's life was defined by her deep faith in Christ and her unwavering dedication to her family. Her home was always open—to her loved ones, to those seeking God’s word, and to anyone needing comfort, encouragement, or prayer. She led weekly Bible studies and poured her heart into sharing God’s promises with others, touching countless lives and bringing many souls to the Lord.
Linda had a rare and beautiful gift for making every moment meaningful. Whether it was a birthday, holiday, or family gathering, she added a personal touch that made each occasion unforgettable. Her love was felt in every detail, and her thoughtfulness was unmatched.
A writer and spiritual dreamer, Linda authored Dreams, Don’t Be Afraid—a heartfelt book she dedicated to her sons, a lasting testament to her faith and motherly love. In it, she chronicled the dreams God gave her, including a vision of a bridge stretching across the ocean to Heaven. In that dream, she walked with Jesus and glimpsed the eternal joy awaiting believers.
On June 8, Linda crossed that very bridge. She now rests in the unbelievable peace she once described— “the incredible feeling of resting safely in the arms of Jesus.”
As Scripture reminds us in 1 Corinthians 2:9:
"What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived—the things God has prepared for those who love him."
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 6:00 P.M., at Cornerstone Church, 18755 Stone Oak Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78258. All who knew and loved her are welcome to join in honoring her remarkable life and legacy.
