Linda Pearson, 73, passed away on November 24, 2013, in San Antonio. She was born November 17, 1941, as Linda Lee Spencer in Hampton, Virginia. She and her husband, Bill, have adopted San Antonio as their home since 1974. Linda was an avid sewer, embroiderer, and quilter who loved to share her passion with friends. She was a private pilot and liked flying with her husband to many destinations throughout the USA. Another interest was watching her son, Mike, and grandson, Critter, drag race, and she enjoyed visiting often with her son, Glen, and family. She is survived by her husband, William M. Pearson; two sons, Glen A. Pearson and wife, Janette of Memphis, TN, and Michael D. Pearson and wife, Denise Lund of Bulverde, TX; grandsons, Shane and Christopher; and 2 brothers, Jimmy and Willie of Virginia; also many wonderful friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
All services will be private family affairs at the request of Linda. She expressed her love for her many friends and asked to send any memorials to her favorite charities, Boysville of San Antonio or Animal Defense League of San Antonio.
