Linda Norris Dianne Smith

Linda "Dianne" Smith, 64, passed away on Monday, February 29th, in Clearwater, Florida. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on May 15th, 1951, to her parents, William J. Norris and Mildred Kolacny Norris. She was the second born of 4 children. She was married to her husband of 40 years, Alan Dale Smith on June 19, 1976. She was the loving mother of 2 children, Adam and Meredith.

As a registered nurse in North Carolina, she cared for preemies and critically ill babies. Due to health problems Dianne resigned from nursing and became a full time mom, always supporting her children's activities. She was active in the extension homemakers clubs in Cary, NC, and Fort Bend County, TX. Art became a passion and reprieve for which she received many awards. Dianne is survived by her mother, husband, and children as well as her sisters, Suzanne Norris Stewart and Roxanne Norris Parsons and her brother, Bill Norris along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2016 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
