

Linda aka (Madam Butterfly) was born June 1, 1954, in Stuttgart, Germany to the late Douglas Jackson Sr and Louise Rachell Jackson. Linda grew up mostly in Palmyra, NJ, attended Palmyra High School where she participated in many activities, such as the Class Steering Committee, Captain of the Color Guard and was voted Miss Palmyra. Linda went on to attend Transylvania University in Lexington Kentucky where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Linda was baptized and accepted our Lord and Savior into her heart at Evergreen Baptist Church in Palmyra and served with the Young Adult Usher Board. Linda worked as a human resource officer at Rancocas Valley Hospital in Willingboro, NJ. Linda met, fell for and then married Irvin R. Washington in 1979. Linda had two children, Irvin Ricardo Washington Jr. and Rachell Whitney Parker. In 1990 Linda moved to Texas to be closer to her mother and siblings that had previously relocated from New Jersey. A few of Linda’s greatest joys was fostering several children, raising her two children, and being the best Grandma to her four grandkids.
On June 2, 2022, one day after her 68th birthday the Lord called her home. Linda leaves several people to mourn her to include her mother, Louise Rachell Jackson, one son, Irvin (Rick) and wife (Annessa), one daughter, Rachell (Shelly) and husband (Michael), four grandchildren, Michael Parker Jr, Malcom Parker, Jaxon Washington, Jonah Washington, two sisters, Bonnie, Doretha (Rita), two Brothers Douglas Jr, Ronald wife (Olivia) and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
